Things to note:
- if more than three main menu items are expanded, the one which was first opened is automatically closed;
- the move cursor for dashboard widgets is displayed after a small delay after hovering the widget header area;
- colorful ribbons for widget boxes.

I like your widgets page but a lot of it feels too busy for my liking; I’m not sure why though.
If you’ve proved anything it’s that WordPress needs proper support for admin themes including admin theme tags to insert common code. Then we could all try your themes for real.
Andrew, I agree. One thing to note is that this (3rd) design is based 100% on the same mark-up as the one with top drop-down menu.
Could it be that all those drag-and-drop layout boxes make it all “too busy”?
