Yesterday I learned that all recent [\#Bafang](https://mastodon.social/tags/Bafang) motors and controllers for ebikes use [\#CANbus](https://mastodon.social/tags/CANbus) for communication. Their [\#BESST](https://mastodon.social/tags/BESST) configuration tool <https://bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/service/besst/> is an electron app which conveniently includes source maps, so I was able to reconstruct the original [\#Vuejs](https://mastodon.social/tags/Vuejs) source code.
