# DIY Professional Wireless Headphones

In [episode 7](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Zwb16MnJ4) of [my video blog](https://kaspars.net/go/vlog) I explain how I converted the popular [Sony MDR-7506 headphones](https://kaspars.net/go/amazon-sony-mdr-7506) into wireless headphones using [a bluetooth audio receiver from Havit](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0185GZMMQ?tag=ksprs-20). This is a follow-up video to my previous [research in using Bluetooth audio for capturing microphone input on iPhone 7](https://kaspars.net/blog/electronics/iphone-7-bluetooth-microphone) which doesn’t have the 3.5mm audio input jack.

The Havit audio transceiver module uses the [CSR8670 Bluetooth audio chip](http://www.csr.com/products/63/csr8670) which is also used in most of the similar devices. It also features a very capable [PAM8908 headphone driver](https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/PAM8901_8.pdf) and audio amplifier.
