# Aranet4 Teardown

[Aranet4](https://aranet.com/product/aranet4-sensor/) is a wireless CO2, temperature and relative humidity sensor with Bluetooth LE connectivity (made by [SAF Tehnika](https://www.saftehnika.com/)) which is supported by the [Sensor Pilot web app](https://kasparsd.github.io/sensor-pilot/). It appears to be using the following components:

- Rigado BMD-320 module (or [BMD-30/35](https://www.u-blox.com/en/product/bmd-3035-series-open-cpu) after the [u-blox acquisition](https://www.u-blox.com/en/investor-press-releases/u-blox-acquired-rigado%E2%80%99s-bluetooth-modules-business-and-extends-bluetooth)) based on the [Nordic nRF52832](https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-short-range-wireless/nRF52832) chip with an ARM Cortex M4 CPU.
- [Senseair Sunrise NDIR](https://senseair.com/products/power-counts/sunrise-hvac/) CO2 sensor (by the looks of it).

Note that the [Aranet4 PRO](https://aranet.com/product/aranet4-pro-sensor/) version has an additional LoRa radio which isn’t populated on this Aranet4 Home version.
